Dear Colleagues,
It is with great excitement that we welcome you to Chicago to host the 2015 World Live Neurovascular Conference. The world of neurointervention has proved to be a very dynamic and growing field this past year with landmark trials and new generation devices to treat our patients. WLNC provides the groundbreaking forum we need to bring both the expert and novice providers together to share cases, highlight techniques and discuss new approach to treatment of our patient's complex problems.
This year we look forward to bringing to you not only a showcase of great cases and experience from around the globe, but also to introduce you to new technologies and devices. Partnering with 5 US centers we will be presenting "live stroke cases” via the Glass technology allowing for real time discussion of the workflow and treatment of the acute ischemic stroke patient. In addition, we are excited to present flow model simulations and animal lab sessions specifically geared to observe and discuss new devices coming to the market. And not to be missed will be the end-of-day hands-on learning labs covering a range of topics and devices in a very focused and private way.
You couldn't be visiting at a more exciting time as our very own Chicago Blackhawks begin their rally for the Stanley Cup. It goes without saying we are happy to be hosting in the wonderful city of Chicago and expect you to take some time to explore such a fun and beautiful town. Chicago sits on more than 26 miles of lakefront property along Lake Michigan with over 15 miles of sandy beaches. It boasts more than 200 theaters, 7300 restaurants, over 200 art galleries, 550 parks and home to US President Barack Obama. We encourage you to seek out a great show, shopping along Mag Mile, a tail-raising Blackhawks game or some fantastic Blues during the annual Blues Festival.
