Dr. Peter Kim Nelson has led the Bernard and Irene Schwartz Interventional Neuroradiology Section since 1997 Dr. Nelson is a world-renowned leader in neurointerventional radiology, whose pioneering work in developing endoluminal devices for the treatment of cerebral aneurysms has revolutionized the field. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical School, with residency and fellowship training in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology-Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, and Fellowship Training in Neurointerventional Radiology at the NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Nelson also serves at the Director of the Neurointerventional Radiology Fellowship.
