MARKUS MÖHLENBRUCH


Prof. Dr. med. Markus A. Möhlenbruch is the Head of Interventional Neuroradiology (MINTZ) at the Heidelberg University Hospital in Germany. He received his medical degree from the University of Mainz. He has been working in field of Neurointervention since 2005, first at the University of Frankfurt, then in within the Department of Radiology at the University of Cologne and the University of Bonn. He finished his Neuroradiology training at the University of Heidelberg in 2012, where he has been working from September 2011 until now. Prof. Möhlenbruch has published more than 270 peer-reviewed papers. His practice and research has been centered on the treatment of intracranial aneurysm, cerebrovascular malformations and ischemic stroke. He has been an investigator on several stroke and aneurysm trials. He serves as member of various societies and organizations and the examination committee of the DGNR, ESNR and ESMINT.
